About Us
Kelly Stearns is a proud lifetime Calgarian who graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with a Civil Engineering Technology diploma and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary. He worked for many years in the oil and gas industry as a Landman and in 2006 founded and operated a land consulting service company for 17 years.
Kelly has also been an avid coffee drinker for his entire adult life. Discovering the uniqueness of world beans during previous trips to Kenya, Tanzania, Peru, Bolivia, and Colombia piqued his interest in the coffee industry. After being introduced to the quality of hot beverages produced by the Italian Bianchi coffee machines combined with his love of good coffee, Kelly decided to apply his entrepreneurial skills to the coffee industry.
With the combination of entrepreneurial skills in the service industry, having a focus on customer satisfaction, high quality coffee machines, a passion for great coffee and the character of the Stampede city, Cowtown Coffee was born.
